If we don't our writing will be as confused as our minds. I also like the point about not judging what others choose to write. Hard to do as a reader because just as we bring ourselves into our writing, we bring ourselves to what we read.

Recently I read one of the best romances I've read this year, out of 100+, but I was put off by a Christian character judging the way another Christian character worshipped. I came away wondering whether it was necessary. Thought the writer could have simply pointed out differences without expressing judgment. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Might write the author to understand why that was important in the context of the work. Perhaps she didn't realize her writing might come across as judgmental, especially to readers who worship in that seemingly less than desireable manner. Aside from that I loved the book, enough to immediately pick up another one from same author.PatriciaWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04572087157439187319noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10583449.post-1161798999943557212006-10-25T10:56:00.000-07:002006-10-25T10:56:00.000-07:00There can be nothing more profound than watching a...There can be nothing more profound than watching and experiencing God at work. The harder part is remembering He is even when the evidence is hidden. Having spent much too long in the world before meeting my Lord, it is difficult for me not to write with intensity I feel about His indescribable character and the unimaginable abilities that go way outside our boxes. The spiritual realm is so much deeper than our finite minds might want to believe.
I appreciate your wonderful faithfulness and boldness, BC.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10583449.post-1161794704445763032006-10-25T09:45:00.000-07:002006-10-25T09:45:00.000-07:00Isn't that how the best books are born?
