Whazza Photo Friday

In light of the last day of the work week (yay!), I give you this photo. What is it? First right guess gets a free book.

While you're at it, if you've got an interesting photo of your own to link to, go right ahead. Last time we did this, y'all had some great ones.
Happy weekend, BGs!

Heating and air-conditioning ducts?

It's a pizza oven in a pizza restaurant--that desperately needs a repairman. LOL

Interesting, you would ask for links to weird pics. Just today, I posted a pic on my blog of the mannequin in the window of a house down the street. It's too weird. Link, below. In my blog post, I put a link to your blog, B., and talked about GG. I'm asking for suggestions in naming my mannequin.

Duct work? or in side a cargo plane? Hope it's not something in someone's house that needs renovating! Yikes. :vD

I am stumped. However ... I think I see windows on the left side of the pic. My first thought was some sort of garage or hanger door ... the insulation and wires made me think though. Then I thought it looked liked the inside of a Uhaul truck/trailer, but that wouldn't explain the wires.

Is this photo right side up? Because if you turned it around it would almost look like the ceiling of something.

Interior of a stripped apart Airstream trailer. Where else would there be so much aluminum? Windows along the top edge of the picture have that curved trailer/airplane look. Looks like a ladder through the doorway.

Also looks like a great place to find/hide a corpse...

A crashed up inside of a boat of some kind?

Hmmm. Duct work sounds about right to me, but the wiring is throwing me off.

Here's my picture

I'm thinking it's the inside of a major appliance, maybe a dishwasher or a clothes dryer.

Lots of "aircraft" tape on the bottom, plus access panels. The terrible caulking job reminds me of military work. The wiring looks aircraft, but there's no aircraft with climbing handles attached near the door, and you don't step over large humps either, plus no hydraulic lines. The painted numbers at the top and bottom are rightside up. Feel like I'm watching LOST right now. No guess yet, I have to think on this more...

looks like some kind of remodeling project to me which we are in the middle of with my DH putting a laundry room/shower in a section of our back porch. I'll ask him when he comes in! rose

You mean we have to wait until Monday to find out?

Yikes. No wonder the poor soul got electrocuted then ...

I'm guessing it's the inside of a boat that is under renovation.

Hey, "Top," that's some interesting thinking. Thanks for commenting.

Two of y'all have come close.

Yes, C.J. you'll have to wait until Monday.

In the meantime, I think Michelle's picture on her blog looks like an enlargement of something like fiber or hair. As for Kristy's mannequin--we need to get that thing and GG together. Maybe it's some alien conspiracy to take over the world...

Oh. I just looked at Michelle's photo again. Looks like cucumbers wrapped in plastic wrap.

It almost appears as if there is water in the bottom of it, but when I enlarged it, there's clearly no water. I'm gonna side with the airplane folk. That top window looks "planeish" and the "door" could be the ariplae door. A guttend engine tray or something?

B., I think my mannequin and your GG would do fine together. I'm calling my mannequin Manly Mannequin, in honor of Manley, Laura Ingalls Wilder's husband, and because my mannequin has crossed his arms across his chest (terrible beat, I know), and I think that's a manly gesture. So from now on, he's MM. Yes, I can see MM and GG together now. MM has his hand out to his side, his and GG's hands locked, GG turning a jig to the music coming from MM's music box.

Okay, here's my closest guess; modified upper area of a boat, like a tugboat. But definately a boat I don't want to be on. The metal is clean, the workmanship sloppy, so I'm thinking US Navy was in it's past somewhere. (I'm a Marine, gotta dig on the squids when I can). I usually am not excited for Monday to come, but now I'm looking forward to it.

Is it your clothes washer? Tipped on its side, in the midst of repair?

It looks to me like a remodel of a restaurant. That is commercial stuff if I ever saw it.

I'm a day late, but I skimmed the answers and never saw the right guess!

How could anyone not recognize the cabinets Brandilyn kicks!??

Okay, duct work, wiring, windows, metal. . .thinking, thinking. . . I haven't a clue but I do think I've come up with one of my own in case you're interested. Here's the link

All I can say is, come on Monday! I'd say I'm dying to know but with Brandilyn, I think I'd better watch my words. (grin)

Abundant blessings,
