"No Good Deed Goes Unpunished ..."

I'm one day from deadline for Amber Morn. In the interest of keeping my nose to the grindstone, I send you today to this interesting article about endorsing books, featuring Scott Turow--known to many as the author who began the legal thriller genre with his novel, Presumed Innocent.

Personally, I pay more attention to the short synopsis than the endorsements. Now, a live endorsement from a friend, that I might pay attention to.

Also, good luck with your deadline.

Brandilyn,
Thanks for sending this article our way. I've been on one end of that endorsement thing, and hope someday to be on the other.
If you're reading this--get back to working on the book! Blessings.

You can do it, Brandilyn! Keep plugging away. Drink some more coffee. Type, type, type. Have another coffee. Pound on those keys. Sip some tea. Pull on your hair a little. Pour one more cup of coffee. Glance at the clock. Throw the clock across the room. Kick a few cabinets. Type, type, type.

Click "send".

Have a final cup of coffee.

Thanks for the article, Brandilyn, and carry on :)

As for endorsements, I haven't asked for any on my own books (influencers, yes, endorsements, no), but my debut has done well anyway. So who knows how much it really matters unless the endorser is, say, Oprah or someone equally famous?

Go Brandilyn Go!!!! No kicking allowed this time. Elevate that foot and pound away. Another masterpiece.
Blessings,
