Happy birthday to Mama Ruth, turning 91 on Saturday!

Ever seen a spiffier ninety-onegenarian?

She's the spiffiest!

If I didn't know better and had to guess her age, I'd say she's in her 70s. Such smooth skin.

You're beautiful, Mama Ruth. What's on the inside has shone through to the outside.

Happy Birthday, Mama Ruth! You are an inspiration and I'm so honored to have made your acquaintance.
And you, dear Brandilyn, are very blessed indeed.
Blessings on you both for a fabulous day and coming year.

Indeed never! She's the sweetest, nicest Mama to all of us. Bless you, Mama Ruth! I pray God grants you another 50 years with us.

Well why not? I have a prayer warrior at my church who is 93 (or she may be 94 by now). She fell about 4 months ago and broke her hip. I cried, thinking this is it. And it often is with older folks.

But Miss Edith foolked us all. I went to see her in the hospital, and she nearly freaked me out. She wasn't in pain, every hair was in place and she talked coherently!

Within 2 months, she was back at church. For the first 3 or 4 weeks she used a walker. Then last week, I saw her without it, walking as sprightly as always.

I can tell you it shut my mouth!

Happy birthday, Ruth! You are a beautiful woman!!

Thanks for the sweet email you sent me when I was diagnosed with GBM brain cancer in early Nov. I couldn't read or write following surgery, but when a little reading returned, I scrolled and saw your name though I was too weak to respond. Just knowing you emailed me cheered me. As well as the rest of the approx. 1,000.

God bless you, Ruth. You are such a great role model for us to look up to. You've lived a life of faith--daring faith, I'd called it--living on the missionfield of India, and all the rest you've done for the Lord. I admire you.

Happy, happy birthday.
