It all started when I was looking for recipes online. I ended up on a site with a little ad over on the right--one too clever to ignore. The ad was for Frixion erasable pens, by Pilot. (Never heard of 'em before.) How do you make erasable pens interesting? Here's how:
The bottom center link says "See the creation of the perfect man. Watch the video." Click on that and up pops a cute, short trailer. Go to the ad here to click on the video and other links.
The ad was well placed--on a recipe site where women would tend to gather.
I'm off to buy some Frixion pens. First, any ad campaign this good deserves a sale. Second, I love fine-tipped pens for signing books. Imagine an erasable one. If I misspell someone's name--voila!

Isn't an erasable pen just another name for a pencil?
This is a cute video. In the interest of fair and balanced journalism, the Pilot Pen folks should do one about the perfect woman, though.
I love pens. I have at least 2 of nearly every kind ... well, except those really expensive ones. I'm too fickle for those. I'm off to watch the video then go buy one! Thanks, Brandilyn!
I've used those pens before. I'm not sure I'd use them to sign books, but they offer the clarity of a pen, the erasability of a pencil and you don't even end up with eraser grim like you do with a pink eraser.
I saw that ad on television and sat and watched it rather than fast forward (gotta love DVR) through it. I laughed myself silly. And put the pens on my shopping list. :)
I gave my man a "Handyman" badge on Facebook (one of the things you can do on the page)- genius advertising!!!
